Hey, we say this during the holidays,

we say this during exams we say this like almost everyday?! o.o

Peeps, I was having that thought just not long ago.Gosh, I've sinned.

I was complaining to God how I've mugged the whole day at maths.

Wah, a miracle.very tiring...

God suddenly dropped in a picture of a chicken Brands bottle into my mind.

It sort of floated-.-Come on, I'm exhausted to think.

It reminded me you know how most people would glup down that tiny bottle,

supposedly to keep us awake and give us strength de o.o

Hey, God reminded me how he's just like that bottle of chicken essence!

Think about it, we always ask God for blessings, for healing, for wisdom, for knowledge.

But have we ever asked for his strength when we are doing our daily things? NO RIGHT!

We only pray for strength when we want to grow, want the group to grow, feel sick etc etc.

But God wants to be our strength, he wants to be our tonic drink, our energiser.

Therefore do not charge your batteries, drink your tonics only before IMPORTANT events!

Because in our life every event is IMPORTANT!

And God wants to remind EVERYONE of us THIS!

Drink God EVERY MOMENT OF YOUR LIFE PEEPS :D

I guess this is a late post..sorry!!

A short post I suppose!

Here are some very overdue photos taken two weeks before during ZTH graduation!

I not sure if you are reading this before the wd outing @ Sentosa, but I want to re-confirm if not I will regret for sure..haha here are things you need to bring!

Each person is to bring

Money ($3 for entry ticket)
Snacks and drinks (individual)
Extra clothes (don't tell me you're not going down the sea, just in case someone push you down, MUAHAHA!)
Sunblock/Sunten lotion (facial products if you want)
Heart of wanting to enjoy there! (I know some of you are really spiritual, but you don't have to be so spiritual that you read bible while seeing others build sandcastles, hehaheha)

For dressing, please do not wear boots/skinnies/suits!

If you do, I wish you good luck, pray for you, before that dial the ambulance hotline, hehe.

I don't have to emphasize on this, you just need to wear casually like how you do at home, but it must be either westd tee if you have or black colour tees, you may want to bring cap or sunglasses, some of you just like to act cool, bohahaha! OPS I never pin point anyone okay.

Yawns...time now is 1:54 AM and I guess I need to sleep soon, don't wanna get mistaken for a panda then no entry to the beach, phewwwww, I know the post today is really joker and lame, hahaha cause I very sleepy hehaheha.

In Proverbs 3:5-6 it says "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

You need to have the positive thinking and also determination to study, but have you not know that God is with you? Sacrifice more time in prayers!

I need to recruit more people into the blogging team, also into the other deco teams! Let us not only serve God by going to service, caregroup or shepherding, or even outreach, let us serve more, join the teams and I make sure even you don't have the gift of that particular thing, God will still use you in another way!

Hellosh people! This is the new blog skin of WD. Hope you guys will like it. Feedback is welcome. Many details had been updated but if there is any missing details, please do tag in the tagbox to inform. West D's DECO will be officially launched on OCTOBER 1ST, 09. All details and roster are up in the duty roster column. If you are involved, please do check. The VIPS in REGH's LIFE!!!!!!!

Hello WestD!! i think i've posted less than 10 entries ever since the start of this blog.Mann...i'm unfaithful! hahazx..but well, just here to share alittle of my thoughts about this family that has been on the battlefield with me~~~

Westd has this particular unique identity that takes a huge place in my heart! This identity not only takes a huge place in my heart, but in everyone of our hearts~~and..WESTD is GROWING!!!! and for the harvesters, you'd get what i meant by saying this.."WESTD, LEAD THE WAY!!" Yes, we do not only grow in quantity, but we are also growing in quality!! and this must not cease!!! Because, this is God!!! This is the family of God!!

Heeee...just wana share how bless and happy i am whenever i'm with you guys!! i think one thing that really encourages me is to see this group of youths that are supposedly suppose to be "youths"(speaking vulgarities,being typical by having peer pressure) but more than just youths...u r a bunch of MATURE youths!! That serves one purpose..TO SERVE GOD!!! Don't u guys agree with me that u r different?? =D

Hahazx...you know recently, there's this girl in our unit that has a huge parental objection and msgs me for help! she says that she really really wana come for ALL svcs n cgs and that she wants me to speak to her parents!! her courage touches me alot, and i'm very sure that this is the case for the most of you right?? struggling hard to tell your parents what you truly believe in??=D this girl allow me to learn something, and that is, when a person is surrounded by so much care, love and most importantly know how REAL god really is, he/she will by no means do whatever it takes be it in desperation to just come to seek God!! i can imagine how much she pleaded God for help!

When i say, VIP(very important people) i really really meant it from the bottom of my heart..because this are people whom not only gain from me, but also allowing me to learn so much more from each and every of your lives!! So once again, THANK YOU SO MUCH BELOVED WESTD!!! You guys truly rocks!! let's continue to serve God hand in hand!!!!!

Let's remain the unity in the group, everyone in the group matters just like everyone matters to God! We matter, look at each of us in the photo, remember their face and continue praying for each other. In Acts 2:46-47 it says "Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." In reality we may not meet everyday but we have the same spirit that is all about serving, loving and obeying God! In times of difficulties, conflicts and problems, let's not leave God! We are magnets, we attract to God and repel from Satan, everyone says agree! It is you who decide to stay with God and stay in hope in times of doubts and difficulties, let's be sensible Christians!

Enough of talking again.
The CLs team had their outing at the Wild Wild Wet on Sunday, 30 August.
We met up at 11.15am at the boon lay control to train down together.
Guess who's late? HAHA KIDDING, we are forgiving okay.
After the tedious trip, we reached the another side of Singapore.
We had our brunch(combination of breakfast and lunch) at the Ananas Cafe then we bused down to Downtown East. We reached Wild Wild Wet and stored our stuffs in the locker!

We played and played and played!
We played the Ular-lah for many times lor and Eugene jumped out from the Ular lah! Cause the ular lah float will 'turn turn turn' then Eugene jumped up a little bit (paiseh ah my English super substandard)

ROFL.
Sihui went crazy at the Jacuzzi, we kept splashing water here and there so don't get traumatized by our behaviour. The strangers there already got traumatized by our behaviour, they might be thinking why we do that in the water, hahaha! Quansheng and Sihui imitated the process of human dying in the JACCUZI WATER, ROAR THAT'S WHY I SAID PEOPLE GOT TRAUMATIZED, HAHAHA!
The most well behaved one is none other than me!
Huaiqian and Regina fake yi ge lor, act one gentle, hahahaha!

HEY I JUST SNEEZED, SO DUSTY!!!!!!

It's a mixture of the dust and panda's fur, hahaha!
Talking about that, please take care of your health as you can see the weather is going haywire, once you step out of your house it rain and once you stay at home, the sun comes out again, funfair right! Drink lots of plain water and avoid cold showers! I used to say this "Aiya you say must trust in God, what for care about my health neh?" But faith without action is dead yeah!!!

You know I learned something last week, everyone surely do and I want to share mine. The more you feel the discomfort, the more you should continue doing and that it becomes a natural thing for you to do. I'm trying to say that, don't stay in your own comfort zone by doing the same things but, go into your discomfort zone here. It is like when you outreach for people, at first you won't feel easy because it takes up your courage to, but as you do it more and more, it becomes a natural thing for you. The more you feel it's not natural to do, the moree you should make it into a natural thing! You might think that stepping out of your comfort zone is something your leaders always say, you are wrong! I've been hearing this for 27491347921 times but God twisted this and spoke to me about comfort zones in a new fresh way.

Let's thank God for our bear UL for planning the sandwhich competition!
We were grouped into groups of 4 then!

Chinese Gardem literally turned into westd zoological garden.

Each of us brought along our home made sandwhiches and we chose the best of the best among each group. It built up our confidence to actually go up and share what's good about our sandwhiches.

I am so convicted with the last post about the Jurong West Schools! I remember last time we didn't have so many schools in westd! We only have westwood, jurong, huayi, fuhua and yuhua. And now we are only left with fuhua untouched! Let's see it coming to pass, believing without seeing!

You guys are blessed that i'm gonna upload all the videos into YOUTUBE & photos onto this BLOG (since you guys wanted to be put up here). YOU KNOW, THR'RE 282 ITEMS TO BE UPLOADED?! OHMYGOSHHHHHHHH. You'd better treat me to at least a cup of ICE MILO from ISLE CAFE in CUPPAGE PLAZE when ya see me on saturday again. C`MON, i'm kidding yeah!

Anw, i'm rly happy tday bcos my cg had new sisters today (WD2) bcos it's been quite sometime since our group have some movement and yeap, it's TODAY! I wanna share a small & common testimony to all of you guys (:

I believe some of us often have the thinking of that, 'aiyah, those who did survey can never come to know God de la, always call or sms they always reject etc' and out of the hundreds, thousands or even millions (exaggerating) of forms that we'd requested people to fill in for us. True enough, out of that millions(exaggerating) of forms that we'd, it seems as if 1/1000000 would come to know christ. Really, it seem so hard. I'd no idea about you guys, maybe some different, but at least for me, yeah.

It's always when i'd given up, other people would bring that person in. Everything seemed to link back to the 1st time when you started asking the person to fill in the form all the way till you gave up and see that particular person coming in through another person. Until this year, i came upon this cute little girl in her blss uniform and requested her to fill in the form. It was january when i was still being put to pioneer blss. In fact, i was already on my way back home when i saw her. It was a strong prompting to talk to her and i did. Guess what? All the way till now, for the past 6 months (going to 7th month), she'd finally come to know christ TODAY(ytd due t blog's timing).

Right now, i really want to make use of this testimony to assure people (especially the old harvestor), those who have been working hard on those survey forms yet seen no fruits. Guess what? God says, 'you've not waited enough. Wait for some more time and I'll bring in that fruit.' When prompted PLEASE DO NOT choose to 'ignore' or pretend that you didnt felt that prompting, seriously, that's God's calling for the live to be saved. And God is choosing YOU to be the physical 'savior. (: heees!

Ohyeah, take a look at the above picture. Can you see the letters & numbers? It wrote, 'WD48'. This picture was taken when i was hospitalised in NUH. I was using this pillow that had the alphabets and numbers 'WD48' written on it. As i recall and thought of how WD was like during april and then come back to how WD is right now. C'MON GUYS, we're reaching that 48, man!

In fact, we will see WD exceeding that 48 yeah?! (& regh will become a SDL as it approaches!!!!!) That pillow really makes me feel that we are so so so approaching that 48 and that jump over it! We're gonna dream about it even in our dreams yeah! REGINA, PREPARE TO SWIM WHEN WE HIT 48!!! :DD

UNIT OUTING!

woohoo! tmr is finally unit outing alr, i'm super excited for it man! how `bout you? must prepare yourself over thr ohkay. i heard tht rainbow & inverter are currently under maintenance (YES! cheeeeerrs!), some are cryin, as for me, God rocks man!! LOL jkjk!

i`m scare of this type of game, man ._. i was just wondering if you guys are gonna go to th haunted house again? honestly, i'd been inside thrice but no idea wht's inside. LOL! th 1st time i went in, i clinged onto my friend's clothe as i move, and as i move, i began to squat & move! LOL. when i gt out of th house, i was alr almost on th floor. super hilarious! k la, im scaredy cat can? :x

& thn move on to my purpose of posting this entry & tht's to share one of my learnings in camp. (AHHH, WE'RE SO UNSTOPPABLE) i think in the kingdom of God, thr will not be any traffic light right? since it's so unstoppable, we would not have to stop and wait for the light to turn green. (OH THT'S FUNNY, HAHA, c`mon, laugh, thanks :D)

WALLS. (nt th ice cream dey) God showed me a room of walls tht impacted me th most. HOW DO WE MOVE WHEN THR'S WALL BLOCKIN INFRONT OF US (& u still call yourself unstoppable?) ? Man, it made sense so much dey! If we're unstoppable, thn wht's tht wall doing over thr? Duhh~ dontcha know tht th walls physically seem so thick and unbreakable (or even unpassable[?????]) ? but with God, how thick, how unbreakable can tht wall be? wht's th wall tht's surrounding you? persecution? problems like finance, parental objections? the world temptation?

MAN, I TELL YOU. tht wall is just a piece of paper whn you allow God to take lead! God will help you break thru th wall whn you allow Him to soften th wall!

yah know in Hebrews 12 talked about God disciplining His sons. Why arent it disciplining th fathers, the mothers instead etc? Right now, at th age you're at (especially youth), all th more God discipline you to endure hardships etc so tht whn yah move on higher in life, ya know how to endure more.

v11 it says 'No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.'

it's like buildin ya power to break thru th wall as ya're young so tht by th time you move higher in your life, walls wouldnt be sth 'hard' for you to break thru anymore.

anw, i wanna share sth tht i learned before camp. who says whn you're doing things tht are not related to spiritual thing, means you can't experience wht God wan to says to you? for eg, like cycling, playing sports, playin computer games, watchin drama, animes etc. th fact is, we can learn to do worldly stuff in a spiritual manner whereby God can also speak thru it to you.

Last month, i started watchin BLEACH (an anime). i'd nv tot i would watch tht bcos th 1st few episodes were rly boring (last time watched preview mahs). however, i saw my brother watchin (th middle part of th anime) and found it pretty interesting, so i decided to watch also (HAHA).

I briefly described wht it's about cos i think some of you nv watch befor. It's about shinigami (death god) who's job is to protect souls from being eaten by hollow (a dono wht monster). they've this weapon called soul slayer in english which they used to attack thn thr's this guy who's actually a human but became a substitute shinigami bcos of sth tht happened in th 1st few episodes. in order to rly use the 'real power' of th soul slayer, shinigami have to really like 'understand' and 'get to know' about the soul slayer which is like th soul slayer is a person tht lend th shinigami their power like tht.

As i was watchin th part whr this guy was fighting th 11th captain till he was about to die thn th soul slayer talked to this guy about how he should use the 'soul slayer' power by understanding th 'soul slayer' etc. thn i realised, isn't it th same as us? in order to really win th world's temptation, the world's persecution and attacks, we've to rely on God's power th most. God is lik tht soul slayer in th anime. His words are like th soul slayer. Are we rly understanding and meditating on His word? Are we rly prioritisin and dwellin in His word whn we face problem?

and as th guy rly start to understand and rely his power on th soul slayer, his soul slayer rly increased its power and win th 11th captain. like th same for us, whn we realised God's power in our life, God will start helping us to overcome many problems in our life as well.. (:

Helloooooo beloved west d :) Huaiqian here posting abt her camp learnings :) Before tht, thanks for all the prayers, my voice is backkk, so you guys can start hearing me annoying y'all on sat agn! My sweeeeet sweeeet voice! laugh, jking! :P

4 days 3 nights of camp, im sure all of you're strengthen, refreshed and woken up by God's voice agn :) Me too :) A new vision for this world, a new vision for my cg, a new vision for my family! I really want want to thank God for showering me with sooo sooo many new things! I believe tht many of you are strengthened by God once agn yup! ;) Anw, thr's alot of thing pastor shirley said tht keeps me thinking. One of them are 'we dont need just ppl to serve God, we need ppl who have the HEART to serve' :) Yeap, all of us are chosen by God, all the more we shld feel privillaged and honored to be a child of God! Look at your schl, so many thousands of them sitted at the hall, but why did God specifically chose you? But still, thr're still so many ppl who come church, go uncommitted or just come for the sake of coming.. Do you know if ppl were to stay faithful in the things they do and have the real heart to serve, how fast are we speeding the coming of Jesus! Yes. So if you think coming to church is just coming for service, cg and shepherding. NO! IT'S MORE THAN THT! Cos church is nt made up of building or activities, it's PPL!

The very early p&w had let me learn smth new too. Actually, how many of us woke up and have the thought of 'Jesus is beside me alr'? Majority no right? But actually Jesus is!!! Knowing Jesus is beside you nt only during night when you're doing qt, but He's right beside you from the morning the moment you wake up! :) If you want to start the day right, start it with God!!! Jesus do all the healings, miracles etc and still wake up early just to seek God! So if Jesus can, why can't we? So... WAKE UP EARLY TO SEEK GOD! :D

Nt forgetting fellowshipping with unit ;) I've took some photos of some girls who're slping :P Hahaha... Yeah. I really love west d!! Why? Cos you guys rocks! I love the night esp the heart to heart talk session. Yup. It's almost like a war, but you know, this is one thing we're special from the outside world! Outside world, when they detest each other abt some areas in other ppl's life, they go gossipping! But for us, we as a family, we said it out and hope that everyone will improve :) This is how diff! So..feel secure.. Hahaha, cos west d's brothers and sisters still love one another =D

and i think your CLs..huaiqian, sihui, quansheng n eugene reali reali work their guts out before n during camp yea!! so lets affirm ur CLS when u see them ok??!! =D and westd1!!! pls do pray for ur CL k...ur CL is very sick!!

i realie wana let u guys noe that responding during camp is one thing and responding after camp is another thing!!! we often say during camp "let's not waste our $140" but do u noe that this oso apply after camp?? The God u see n hear n experience during camp is the God that u r serving after camp as well!! let's not only meet God during camp, but after camp as well!!! our daily walk with God MUST be consistent!!!

The last saturday before UNSTOPPABLE

Do you guys know that if we do not 'revise' or 'reflect' about what we learned during the day (especially a lesson etc), we would forget it within 24 hours? It might not be 100%, but more than half- yes. That's what i heard from a teacher who taught me math last year. He often asked my class to revise what we learned in the day when we get back home. We asked why, and he told us this logic. I don't know if it would work since i do not have any scientific evidence, but, i can be a living testimony about forgetting more than half of what i'd learned in the day. LOL! (maybe i've a lousy memory) In addition to yesterday's entry:

Reflecting of sermon/teaching that you'd learned from today's service/meeting can leads to MEDITATION.

Repentance that leads to revival
Joel 2:12-17

1) I need to personally repent (v12-14)
a: I need to repent now (v12)
b: I need to repent bcos of God's grace (v13)
2) I need to repent together (v15-17)

Just to share what i'd learned today. In my own conclusion, i'd said that there're 2 types of repentance. 1 is called 'simple' repentance and the 2 is called 'genuine' repentance. Simple repentance is just repenting, trying to stop yourself from repeating the same mistake again and again. I'd thought that 'genuine' repentance should be a type of repentance that really gives it all and put it to a force of stopping from the mistake to happen again. Sound contradicting.. Hmm.. What i'd mean is that, genuine repentance is a heart that really want to cease all kind of connection with the mistake that it made, a heart that would give all out to see it from happening even if caused discomfort.

Another that i'd learned is about the big difference between individual and group repentance. It reminds me of a cheer leading team. It doesn't sound exactly the same as what i'd learned. A little twisted. Lemme share about what i'd learned first. Group repentance is explosive. I'd thought it might sound more like a rocket. The fire that push it upwards is like what group repentance means, i guess? (:

Talking about the cheer leading team. Imagine with me, that there're a few stacks of human, stacking on one another. The 1st stack on the floor contain the largest amount of people followed by the 2nd stack on top of the 1st stack, containing a few amount lesser than the 1st stack. And the pattern goes on. This type of team work lead to one conclusion. The last stack is always ONE person standing on top, giving a victory or 'yay' signal. Isn't that what you often see in TV? Maybe not, but i did. As i twisted the perspective more towards the spiritual realm, i feel as if that all of us who are working hard are that few stacks of human. WHY?

The 1st stack on the floor containing the largest amount of people are like our leaders. The many leaders that built our foundation strong and hold us on. Followed by us, all of us who are being led by the leaders, being hold by the leader, to stand firm on their shoulders, hands or whatsoever that lead us to move on higher. And guess who is the last single one standing on top? That's God. As we stack on, we lift Him higher and higher. Higher and higher to show the world who is the Victory, to show satan who's the King.

However, there's always a disadvantage in this. If one fell, maybe the rest could hold on. If many fell, that's it. But the thing is, should we even fall? Unity is shown in this type of cheer leading team and we're part of the 'cheer leading' team. This show that we're not going to fall, we're going to stay on, we're going to lift God higher and higher. We're gonna share all up and down together despite spiritual warfare, persecution or many more.

We'd UDMM that talked about spiritual warfare (i think i'd shared what i wanted to share above already). Followed by some of us who left for shepherd's meet before heading home.

How are you guys feeling? Whole body pumped up for camp? Hah! Me too, and guess what? It's just few more days time from now! Do prepare yourself well for the camp :D

It rly awes me when i felt Father sitting at the highest in His throne.
When i sung it, i realised my heart had a strong urge of lifting God higher and
higher. I felt my hand trying to reach up higher and higher to the King who is
sitting at the throne. My heart was filled with awe and gratitude that cannot be
explained. A type of joy and happiness overwhelmed me.. God is so much higher
than anything..

How've your devotion been going?

Instead of answer like, 'yeap, i'm doing good with it', 'oh, it's fabulous!' etc, why not further discuss about it with the people around about what you learned? It doesn't have to be discussed only when there is a right 'timing' for it. God's word can be discussed anywhere! I mean, aren't we told to share God's word every where we go? :D

Ever heard of 'meditating on His word?'

I bet you do. What's the purpose of a devotion? An answer that wouldn't appear here but it may create some time for thought in your brain. Unless you had just joined us for a few weeks, you should at least know one of the answer for 'the purpose of a devotion'. (Please ask your shepherd or leader if you do not know.) Often a time we're reminded to meditate on His word but what's actually meditating? How do i go about it?

As i was being reminded as well since yesterday, i'd decided to go look for it around the net and found a site talking about it. I would like to share it with you guys :D

The Discipline of Meditation basically means we are to focus, ponder, and reflect upon Christ. The discipline aspect of “biblical” Christian meditation means we commit to pay attention to Him, giving Him our total concentration as LORD over us. We are to “contemplate” and “deliberate,” which is to put Christ at the center of our attention and will by deliberating on His instructions and comparing them to what comes across our paths in life. This way, we can conform our mindset to replicate His Way, precepts, and call. This will enable us to “rehearse,” and make His ways our rehearse and reason, engaging in spiritual growth so He can communicate with us in order to shape and form us. Meditation helps us in our quest to grow in Him. Thus, we can “weigh" and study what God requires of us; then, by our attentiveness and determination, implement the application of what Christ has for us. Meditation subsequently allows us to become more humble-minded, relational, and active in God so we can be better able to lift our heart, will, thinking, and reasoning over to Him and then be better at reflecting and focusing on Him.

focusing on our feelings, intuition, exercise, detachment, manipulation, or some breathing techniques to get what we want from God or a deeper sense of ourselves. Nor is it “emptying” ourselves, seeking some kind of mantra or a path to attain enlightenment, because we want to “fill” ourselves with the Spirit and His precepts rather than “empty” ourselves! Nor is meditation some esoteric Nirvana to get a hidden meaning or go to a deeper level. God calls us to a deep level as we seek Him, placing Him first by what He has revealed, not seeking something He has not revealed. Emptying ourselves leaves room for the devil's ways and our will to take over. Rather, biblical meditation “fills” our mind and “attaches” us to Christ as in aligning us, focusing us upon our Lord as Lord over all we are and desire to be. Meditation is not difficult or complicated, nor is it for just pious “monasticism;” rather, it is for any Christian desiring more of Him and less of self (John 3:5).

What happens when we do
not practice this discipline? We are choosing not to grow closer to our
Lord. Or, perhaps we are using an excuse that because others have misused this
practice and turned it into what it is not, we are to totally abandon it. In
biblical meditation, the foundation is the Lord, who equips us to meet the
emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of one another. This discipline is not
emptying our mind or evoking some eastern religious or cultist view; rather, it
is drawing our attention to Christ—to whom He is and what He has done for us.

Just to share my learning point with you guys. I'd learned that if any decision i'd involved even 0.01% of my feeling and emotion in it, it could be a wrong decision. God do allow feeling and emotion, but not at the wrong situation. (:

Im sure you guys enjoy yourself during today's MASQUERADE ESS right! Althought today we didnt complete our schools BUT DO NOT LOSE HEART PEOPLE! GOD is still faithful to us! Cause in today's svc,god still bless us with 3new sisters! PRAISE THE LORD! And not just that,let us count the blessing that god has given to our group during the past 2months.

In the past 2months God has bless our group with a total 10new brothers&sisters(including today) AND not just that i believe that god has also bless people with money to go for camp etc etc. And in the same way,i believe that god has also bless your life during these 2months right? So why not lets set some time n really sit down to count the blessing that god has given in our life and be greatful&thankful about it!

And people, do not lose heart ohhkays! Cause if god is able to give us so much blessing in our lifes, im convicted about it that our schools WILL BE COMPLETED! As long as we continue to work hard and believe that god will work in our friends/contacts hearts, the harvest will be here! A wealthy man and his son loved to collect rare works of art. They had everything in their collection, from Picasso to Raphael. They would often sit together and admire the great works of art.

When the

conflict broke out, the son went to war. He was very courageous and died in battle while rescuing another soldier. The father was notified and grieved deeply for his only son.

About a month later, just before Christmas, there was a knock at the door.
A young man stood at the door with a large package in his hands.

He said, "Sir, you don't know me, but I am the soldier for whom your son gave his life. He saved many lives that day, and he was carrying me to safety when a bullet struck him in the heart and he died instantly. He often talked about you, and your love for art." The young man held out this
package. "I know this isn't much. I'm not really a great artist, but I think your son would have wanted you to have this."

The father opened the package. It was a portrait of his son, painted by the young man. He stared in awe at the way the soldier had captured the personality of his son in the painting. The father was so drawn to the eyes that his own eyes welled up with tears. He thanked the young man and offered to pay him for the picture. "Oh, no sir, I could never repay what your son did for me. It's a gift."

The father hung the portrait over his mantle. Every time visitors came to his home he took them to see the portrait of his son before he showed them any of the other great works he had collected.

The man died a few months later. There was to be a great auction of his paintings. Many influential people gathered, excited over seeing the great paintings and having an opportunity to purchase one for their collection.

On the platform sat the painting of the son. The auctioneer pounded his gavel. "We will start the bidding with this picture of the son. Who will bid for this picture?"

There was silence. Then a voice in the back of the room shouted, "We want to see the famous
paintings. Skip this one."

But the auctioneer persisted. "Will somebody bid for this painting. Who will start the bidding? $100, $200?"

Another voice angrily. "We didn't come to see this painting. We came to see the Van Goghs, the Rembrandts. Get on with the real bids!"

But still the auctioneer continued. "The son! The son! Who'll take the son?"

Finally, a voice came from the very back of the room. It was the longtime gardener of the man and his son. "I'll give $10 for the painting." Being a poor man, it was all he could afford.

We have $10, who will bid $20?" Give it to him for $10. Let's see the masters." 10 is the bid, won't someone bid $20?" The crowd was becoming angry. They didn't want the picture of the son. They wanted the more worthy investments for their collections.

The auctioneer pounded the gavel. "Going once, twice, SOLD for $10!"

A man sitting on the second row shouted, "Now let's get on with the collection!"

The auctioneer laid down his gavel. "I'm sorry, the auction is over." What about the paintings?"

I am sorry. When I was called to conduct this auction, I was told of a secret stipulation in the will. I was not allowed to reveal that stipulation until this time. Only the painting of the son would be auctioned. Whoever bought that painting would inherit the entire estate, including the paintings. The man who took the son gets everything!"

God gave His son 2,000 years ago to die on the cross. Much like the auctioneer, His message today is: "The son, the son, who'll take the son?" Because, you see, whoever takes the Son gets everything.

i'm amazed by the fact that this is my 2nd post in westd blog for this week!! haahs..sihui n huichuen i'm joining ur clan!!! hahazx..well, i guessed its partly due to the fact that i;ve jux finish my exam!! so u guys..gota cling onn mann!! =D

well, it sets me thinking of just what had happen this week...things happen so fast, so quickly!! till i think it feels like i've jux taken a picture! it all happens in just a click!!

my eyes welled up in tears as i chance upon one of our dear sister's blog...she has parental objections and it all happens in a split second that her parents found out she is a christian just ytd..things dun go too well..but then when i saw her post...i couldn't hold it..i teared!

This is part of the post, it was titled(to westd) :

today...i begin to grow a leap further on appreciating how much i can do for God openly and publicly...i begin to give thanks for how much i can do quiet time as and when i like...how openly i can place my bible etc. it sets me thinking how fortunate we r to be able to serve and yet sometimes we dun give it all...as for this sister.......She's dying to serve!!! i put myself in her shoes...i felt pain n lost!!! though i dunno what the chinese words meant..

i want to tell this sister that...once she steps into westdeee...she's forever our family!!! so bros and sis!!! let's rise up to this!!! let's pray together and see a big miracle coming!!!! BELIEVE!!!!!!!!

Thinking of giving "UNSTOPPABLE" a miss???

hey..to my beloved unit and to all who chance upon westdeee blog...i would like to share a story of a girl and her way to leadership in hope...

5years ago, there's this girl whom pursue freedom and does not like being tied up..therefore decided to backslide from God and do this thing called church-hopping! she just roam anywhere a church available for her to be in..finally, she found hope and settled down, but then realize that she still doesn't want to commit herself, so she decided to attend hope and often even before the whole service ends, she's already gone!

she doesn't like church crowds but love to keep her weekend occupied with pubbing and clubbings and more of SENTOSA!!!! she love hanging out with her gp of so called "cool" friends and get herself cooked by the sun..so often she would attend the first half of the service to give her leader "face" then whoooo..she's off partying!!!!

when she's in secondary4, attenting service, she heard about camp!(she nvr hav good impression of camp and hates it as she thinks its the same as her scool's camp) so therefore when the pastor says" turn to ur neighbour and giv them a pat on their shoulders saying..SEE YOU IN CAMP!!" she often thinks they are insane! however her shepherd ask her if she would lyk to join..w/o even a thought, she says she has badminton camp in school, and thus gota giv this camp a miss! but then again her leader persued on and barely managed to ask her for the last night of camp! the fact is there isn't any badminton camp at all!

so finally the day of camp have arrived! 7am she reach the camp venue and then found it real boring!! then up to the night!! with a time of teaching,prayer and worship etc. God spoke to her!!! that day, that familiar voice, that one touch, changed her entire life!!! on that night, she decided to re commit her life to God!! then the pastor said "gather in your schools and pray" lo and behold, she only has 2 person in her school!!! God said to her "look...your school needs me!! " then God gave her a combo by adding a verse to her "no matter you turn to the left or turn to the right, you'll still hear a voice behind you saying, this is the way..WALK IN IT!!!"

that night!! that second..God changed the life of this aimless girl ,one's life full of confusion to the girl who is typing this entry in the hope that you register for camp..NOW!!!! that girl is me!!! Regina!! that is not a made up story...it's my real life story!!! people..if u r still comtemplating..i really wana urge u to take this leap of Faith!! if you have any objections from your parents, try again!!! NEVER GIVE UP!!! its a $140-$150 in exchange of a donkey? a cow? a monkey?? NO!!! its in exchange of YOUR NEW LIFE!!! c'mon!!! God is waiting!! =D

I apologise for being mysterious and invisible, as you can see from the last two posts, the person who updated was me, Potato(for the benefit of people who don't know my name but know my nick -,-)

Mid-year examinations have finally commenced!
Have your leaders given you your exam kits? If no, bug them to!! HAHA.
Okok, my post isn't any fantastic I can say, you know I'd feel sense of satisfaction when the blog is really active!
I am really busy! I'm multi-tasking actually and I'm not good in it!

Count every blessings.
God blessed me a lot this week!
I should take this opportunity to share now!

I was actually bothered by the camp money issue this morning. MOE stated that my bursary award money will be transferred to my bank account by the end of April, to no avail I did not receive that amount of money. I could actually feedback to MOE and ask about it, but I didn't! Haha! The reason is because, I was told to send the giro form and my photocopied IC to MOE before I could get my money, to my horror I forgot I send my photocopied IC to MOE! If you don't send your IC, they won't believe that you are the prize winner of the bursary award and therefore, they won't transfer the money to you! In fact, I did not even talk about it anymore when I realised I forgot to send my IC, I know if I trust God in this, instead of trusting in MOE, God will honor me with that amount of money! I prayed every single day about the bursary thingy! Hallelujah! I don't grumble even though my bursary award money isn't that much, at least I am able to register for the camp! Give thanks and be content, praise the Lord. Oh ya, I forgot to share how did I get the money! My mama called me and told me she received a notification letter from MOE! MOE stated I have received the bursary award money and it is transferred into my bank account! TRUST IN THE LORD IN GOING FOR THE CAMP!

UNSTOPPABLE CAMP!
I am so excited and looking forward for the camp!
I really believe that you must do something about it if you want to sign up for camp! Camp is better than spa I reckon, it is awesome man!

Before you can even trust God in going for the camp! Practise your faith, you need to use your faith on something, start with small little things as our faith will grow! It is similar to climbing a ladder, we don't climb on the top rung. Faith is like our muscle, we need to strengthen it so we can support heavier loads as time goes by. Get in line with the Word of God first, put your faith in the Word, in God!
TRUST GOD IN THE SMALL LITTLE THINGS BEFORE WE TRUST GOD IN BIG ISSUES!
Don't get too foolish or naive, stop presuming that God will touch your parents' heart in letting you to go for camp or even He will bless you with the camp money if you do nothing about it! Do something about it! If you proclaim you have faith in going for camp, start by actions! What kind of actions? Pray, save up the money and also start practising your faith!

I'm anticipating for the camp!
For the first-timers, you will never regret in going yeah!

Through this tough period of time which is the examinations, don't rely on ourselves, rely on God. I used to ignore the presence of God and assumed I could do well in my examinations, at the end of the day, what I got was 7 over 25 for my science test. I flunked my class test pathetically, I came to a point of wanting to change when God spoke to me through many people like Regina, I didn't want to flunk my exams again and you know, my conduct in school wasn't good and neither I had a consistent relationship with God. What I want to convey is, balance well between your spiritual walk with God and also your studies. 玩归玩，读书归读书！Wait, there is no such thing as ‘serve God 归 serve God’!
[Romans 14:17]
¹⁷For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

We cannot compromise in the KOG, like today's pm, we shouldn't be neither hot nor cold for God, we should be HOT for HIM! Do you know that God is so hot for us? He yearns to hear from us, He yearns to have prayers from us, so...we must 'yearn back'. Like the baby chimpanzee and the mother chimpanzee story shared by Yunian during pm, the baby chimpanzee is like 阴魂不散, he kept clutching onto its mother! Our Christian life must be like that baby chimpanzee! Don't be realistic, you think God will honor your studies if you just stick to Him through your tough times? NO! God does not deserve us to be like that, we please Him, we long to seek Him, have these kind of thinking every time yeah.

Why are you studying for? Why do you go to school and go for study groups?
Some people would. say, "I have no choice" whereas some would say "Going to school is also part of serving God". Don't harvest the thinking in your heart that you study for the sake of studying, you just want to mingle around our cg mates and so and so. If that is so, why waste your time studying when you are not?

You always hear your shepherd or leaders adding on... be salt and light, what was on your mind then? Salt? You mean acids, bases and SALT? NO! Be the light in your class, be the light in your family, that is what your leaders mean!

Study for what? To please your teachers with the good marks? Or to get temporary rewards from your parents? When we study for God, we glorify Him through the things we do, we then have eternal reward from God, and the eternal reward is in heaven!

If you want to do it, you can do it.

The exams devotional is really useful, I love it as God speaks to me the most when it comes to doing devotionals, daily qt and so. And it is when I feel God everywhere and everytime, I feel so good, woah hallelujah! Can you imagine yourselves not spending your time with Him daily? Have you ever pondered over the cause of why God is so invisible to you?
Every little thing said here was what I experienced and how I overcame!

The excitement is always there although I have been to service for don't know how many many times. Another optional study group will be later after udmm at SMU!

HAHA, I will pray that everyone will study instead of play, uh! Haha and I pray that you are reading this in the morning later, not at night la!!! Lol I admit this is a super late post.

Welcome ChinHoe and WenXin to the harvester's family (:

hoohoo! thank God for huichuen helping to update the blog about our study group! if not i think the blog will rot siah. HAHA! Ohkay, to prevent that, lemme update some photos taken during easter and yesterday! :D

And yeap, camp registration starts on this coming april 25! Early registration will be from next saturday all the way to the 2nd saturday on MAY. Do register early because after that it would be normal registration which cost another $10. There will not be any late registration, you'll have to register through the part time slots after normal registration ended.

I wonder if you guys can still remember what we did for the previous camp? If you cant, click HERE to see what we'd learned during camp! Of course, all the funny photos that we took are all inside our facebook and friendster! Remember MINILUTION night? When all of us were told to doll up as some cartoon characters, our group got our own designed animals teeshirt and tying up our hair as some little kids.. carrying some dolls on us.. Yes exactly, all these apparel were indeed young but if you move on to our heights and faces ah.. i think.. lol, perhaps some still look young but ah.. the rest dont need say ohkay. LOL. (ohkay, stop pinpointing at me, i know, im admitting!)

Ohyah! Not forgetting our leaders' appreciation night! We'd a video for our ex leaders, Jency, Boonhow & Regh(this one not ex, still is). It's in our youtube! :D you can have a look there!! Yep yeap yeap, it was lotsa fun, seriously. And definitely, the way God ministered to each of us.. all the words of His through the preachers' mouths really impacted our hearts deeply. The fun nights we spent with the whole family, camp is just simply too great to miss out. So..

Last but not least, jiayou for your MYE! Always do remember to remind yourself of God's presence with you when you are fighting this "war". God is with you everywhere even when you are fighting ALONE with the exam questions! Look to Him and let Him take charge! Let God write the answers through your pen, let God be the storage box so that all the stuff you studied for your exam will be stored properly in Him and when it's time for exam, He will slowly write it out through your hand and pen! :DD

UNIT OUTING

heeehee, i was told that some came to west dee blog but was disappointed to find no pictures. My big apology! As for unit outing, you dont have to feel disappointed because im gonna update all i have in this entry.

Those who came yesterday, our dearest mummy (regina) of the day made an announcement during the unit outing that our theme for unit outing is SLACK but on the other hand, FELLOWSHIP! Woohoo! Definitely, we had a great time fellowshipping dey! It was super super SUPERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR FUN! Ohmy, im beginning to miss the fun..

Before the photo gallery start, let me aga aga introduce what did we do during unit outing! What else can we do other than SLACK? (: Of course is slack la, dey -.- LOL. We had steamboat when we reached. It wasnt ANY ORDINARY steamboat ohkay. This steamboat that we had made up of many family love and warmth given out by every single one of us because we set up the steamboat together!

Followed by steamboat, we just simply play and play and play. Some left as the night arrived, only 10 left to stay over night. That over night was really fun because all we did was MAHJONG & POOL plus movie. ohoh, we'd praise and worship songs as our background for awhile, LOL!

One funny thing that i want to share is- THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE GUYS. Ohkay, not all. I mean, some. HAHA! I shall not reveal what did they do. You can go ask them yourself. When we woke up at 7am plus we continued our mahjong and movies immediately like as if our day didnt end! HAHA! So funny can, LOL. okok, less word less word. Some people are complaining already~

WEST ANNIVERSARY IS OVER!

I believe all of you enjoyed yourself. I did, to the core! It was really such a memorable one while recalling the 1st anni that we had last year. Especially the photos flashing part, really made me wanna cry as i miss some alumni and shannon!! But yeah, let's see more new faces in the photos presenting part next year!! 本小姐 is kind enough to help this 大忙人 called 泪金纳谢慧贤(糮)熊 to share her testimony with all of you here! :D

Recently, she was reminded of this called breakthrough giving and she thought it's been quite a long time since she last had a breakthrough giving. Last saturday when it was the time for tithing, there was only a $50 note in her wallet. Hesitating and was reminded of that, she threw it in. After that, she officially announced 'temporal' bankruptcy. If you guys did observed, she did not eat during lunch.

This week, she was really broke. Suddenly, a student coordinator in her school called her up to collect a $100 cheque because 本大小姐 put her as my referral to the school. However, she knew 本大小姐 was also struggling in financial area and then, she called 本大小姐 up and told me that she's giving me that $100 cheque. So what happens after that? Back to bankruptcy.

After she hanged up the call, few minutes later 本大小姐 was told that the student coordinator called up again to ask her to collect another $100 cheque. LOL, can it not be a blessing? :D

LAUNCH OF NEW BLOGSKIN!

Hello WD, i bet all of you had been expecting this blogskin to come out since like month ago. I apologised for the delay but yeah, this time round- simple & easy! We'd also created facebook, uploaded videos (like ldrs appreciation last yr, shann's video etc) into youtube. So yeap, if you guys have th time, do go see see haha!! Of course, let's not forget to advertise this blog to our new brothers & sisters who had joined us since JAN09 till now! Ohmy, i'm sooooooooo excited for it! Can you re-call what we had for west anniversary last year? I cannn!! I remembered the part when De wen sung 月亮代表我的心 he tried some weird techniques to reach high notes and some part when he kept looking at the balloon that was stuck at the aircon! HAHA! I've no mean intention by saying this out. It's just that west anniversary is really too fun to miss out! & yeap, this time round, it's going to be SO MUCH more fun! :D So yea yea yeah, BRING YOUR FRIENDS ALONG :D

Next up- UNIT OUTING!!!!! Can anybody remember the last unit outing we'd? Honestly, i can't. I think, maybe months ago or.. LOL, pardon me. I seriously can't remember. BUT WHO CARES? We're going down to Jacob's place on APRIL 10! Woohoo, i'm SUPER excited for it!

Last but not least- EASTER COMBINED SERVICE APR12 ! It's gonna be so huuuuuuuge & God is sure gonna move to touch lives at that convention hall! The whole hall is really going to be filled with God's presence! Let's do our best in bringing friends there and show them what love really is! :DD

Guys girls gays(happy), 3 months had passed. This is the 4th month of the year. Ain't 2009 fast? It was like a blink of eyes when we last counted down 2008. Sometimes, i really couldnt imagine that this is already the 4th month of the year. In 2 months' time, it's camp! I thought it was like we just had it few weeks ago! LOL. I don't know how you felt but deep down in me, i know time is rushing out. We have to invest our time wisely on the things we ought to do for the KOG instead of doing what it pleasure us. We have to learn to invest on a long term insurance and not a short one. Life is really short compared to eternity.

Seriously, there's no such word called "nothing" in the dictionary of God. Nothing as in, there's nothing for me to do, there's nothing for me to plan, there's nothing for me to start a vision, there's nothing.. nothing.. nothing.. No no no! God's kingdom is a never ending kingdom! There are lotsa things we can do in this kingdom of God. It's your response towards all these infinity of stuff that we can do.

Of course, there will be time that our roller coaster hit the ground and we go like, "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!". We felt as if we're going to die any moment. We felt as if our heart beat is gonna stop.

But, hey, wait. Aren't we already belt-ed to the seats? Aren't safety precautions already taken?

Yeap people, in God's kingdom, He had promised us many stuff. His presence, His assurance, His love, His victories for us... many many more.

In the bible God said, "Never will I leave you, never will i forsake you."
In colossians 2:5 it says,"For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit and delight to see how orderly you are and how firm your faith in Christ is."

How have you been giving thanks? Have you been dwelling in your problems that you forgotten about all these promises that God had made? Step out of it, open up your eyes, look around, give thanks and start rejoicing. Why? Because you've what the others don have (:

I got two news, one good and one bad. Which one do you wanna hear first? Ok, the good news is that our blog is under restructuring. The bad news is.....our blog had not been active for 13 days haha.
I know our UL who is REGINA CHEAH HUAY XXXX updates this blog only once in a blue moon, that's why you can see the last post before this was hers. Have to save her post for memories, well haha lame.. ok.

It was a sunny day yesterday, and we had our unit mcg yesterday wooooots! Not only we had mcg but we had a small birthday celebration for the March babies!!
Well done for this event! Friends enjoyed the event and perspired a lot, haha.
You know, I'm the ulimate photographer of the event. Although I'm not skillful enough to be one, I also have no idea why does the people in the photos look unglam.

*CLEAR DUST*

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooo all, panda here again ;DD hahas! Anyway, how was your valentine week and this week? I'd a wonderful week, not with boyfriend but with many boyfriends and girlfriends!

Last saturday, aft valentine svc (which was rly a great one, praise God tht so many peeps came to know God!), WD came down to my hse for so called valentine party (it doesnt rly looked like one). All of them had steamboat, noodles, rice etc. Hope everyone enjoyed themselves!

Yesterday(saturday), Hope church had a combined service at suntec convention hall. It was rly great & fabulous to be there once again aft th first time at thr for PM! I rly feel so happy to see Hope Singapore gathering together to worship God ;DD

We prayed for Pastor Ben and Pastor Dinah who're going over to America and help out. We also prayed for Pastor Jeff and Pastor Claudia who took over the role of taking care of the church. Of course, we'll continue to keep our leaders in prayers! (Bcos once satan striked, they strike th ldr first!) Pastor Jeff was the one preaching. He preached about:

Preparation to conquer the land (Joshua 5:1-15)

1) Circumsise my heart- a life of repentance (v2-9)

Colossians 2:11, Revelation 7:9, John 15:2, Psalm 139:23-24, Numbers 32:33

2) Celebrate God's love- a life of communion (v10-12)

Exodus 12:12-13, John 3:16, Romans 8:37b

3) Commit to God's relationship- live a life of surrender (v 13-15)

Ephesians 5:23-24, 1 corinthians 2:1-3, revelation 19:7

Th 3 things tht we need to continue to pray and work on in order to get ourselves prepared and tht're doing the psalm 139 deal, keeping our life accountable and keeping one another accountable!

I was rly reminded by God once again thru this sermon about wht God spoke to me about few days ago. Tht we should live everyday as if Jesus is coming back at tht time bcos no one knows the exact time except for the Father when the Son is coming back. If we continue to slack, to procrastinate, to waste time and invest our time wrongly, then when Jesus come back at th time when we are slacking, how shameful will you feel! I dont know about you, but i'll definitely feel so shameful tht i will volunteer to go hell (exaggerating). So guys and girls, instead of living everyday as if it's another day, another ministry day, another day when you need to rush it off before th next day will come, live it as if Jesus is coming back on th day and then use the rest of the time for all you want!

Tho sch/cca/homeworks/projects/parents/family/finance/ etc and many more tht rly make us stress up or feel like running away from it, but tht's not the solution by running away. The only solution is to face the fact tht God is watching all the times. Jesus is coming back anytime as well. So keep watch of one another so tht we wont fall into satan's trap.

ARGH! UPDATE HERE!

Oh well, I'm not sure if there's still anyone guessing who am I.
Let me reveal now, DRUMROLL!
I'm huichuen la, hahahahha!
Not bad eh, I supposed myself as an invisible blogger, okok not funny. HAHA

Haha! Actually I left this blog dead for 5 days is because I wanna see if who will update, rawrrr but to no avail, no one had updated this precious and lovely blog! I got HOLY discontentment, my holy discontentment lasted for 30 seconds only la, taoyan haha!

Alright, I will not crap anymore. Yesterday was the FALL ESS! I know everyone had done their very best in inviting friends for this but it's not the end, we still have to do confirmation weekly, hahahahaha! Still need to invite friends weekly although the ESS is over, evil laughs.
I feel that Christians are super cool, we spent our Valentine's with God and our unit cg people unlike the other people spent their times with their love ones.

The God Who Loves Me

[Psalm 23:60] "Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever."

1) God Gives Me A Brand New Start Each Day
[Lamentations 3:22-23] "Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

- God's love for us is new every moment, everytime, everyday and so.
God's love is totally different from any human's love.

Analogy:
Sometimes when we quarrel with our friends, family or people, we will always rake up the pasts of what they had done wrong. Hence, our love for them is not holy, as we have bitterness in them. We claim that we forgive, but we don't forget. Fortunately, God has a different outlook on love, whatever is a past, it is a past, if only we repent for our wrongs.

- We do not fear to face problems or circumstances

It is so normal for us to fail something in our lives, to fail is to be human but not a loser.

[Romans 8:28] "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

We are called to do things for God. God intentionally place problems in our lives so that we can overcome it. He can even turn terrible things into miracles, no doubt, for He is God. Christians are merely people who receive changes for the better. When we overcome something in our lives, means that we got breakthrough.

2) God walks with me forever
[Psalm 23:6] "Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever."

From this verse, you will see this word 'forever'. People always say "Yay friends forever!" I used to proclaim that too but actually my friendship now with that person lasted, LOL.

This word 'forever' also means eternally, until the time when we go heaven, God is still by our side.

- We can walk with God every moment.
"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."

Walk with him everywhere, everytime and every moment. Even if you are doing your business in the toilet, even your DM in school is reprimanding you for some reasons, you can converse with God! Erm, I mean talk to him in your heart, if you choose to say it out, your DM might send you for counselling I suppose.

*Faith may not know when it is being led, but it knows and loves the One who is leading.

[1 Corinthians 13:4-8]
"Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

*Try changing all the 'love' and 'it' words to 'God'.

I really thank God for P.Shirley, I'm convicted after the whole teaching. Even though I'm considered as those who have been in this church for quite long and also heard of this teaching before, God changed my perspective. Every night I will repent, and have a brand new start with God the other day. It feels that, we are newly born everyday, haha!

I do think my mum is super cute. She came into my room and saw my sermon notepad, and she unintentionally saw my handwriting. She commented "Eh, your handwriting is like that one ah"? Is this a good sign that she is trying to praise my nice handwriting OR she is telling me that my handwriting had become worse??!!

Nevermind, I'm ultra secured in God. Not like someone right? ChXX Sze HXXX, that person lo. LOL, kidding.

I want to urge everyone who is reading this post to continue pray for the whole church. Pray for the schools, pray for the new-believers, pray that they can be retained! Last but not the least, JIAYOU!

This week ahead will still be as busy as per normal. School, cg, shepherdings, evax, outreach and so on! Cling on to God! His word is the most important one, our daily bread, our resources. We need food and water to survive physically, but we also need God's word to SURVIVE SPIRITUALLY! HAHA.

[Psalm 119:28] "My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word."

UPDATE!!

Hello WestD!
I don't mind updating the blog! But you all also do update ok!
Even if you don't have time to, maybe you can share your testimony or some encouraging words! God wants us to have the spirit of sharing, don't keep them to yourself! Haha!
After knowing God for two years, I tasted the joy in serving Him and sharing. (Don't you think that our blog seems to be more lively now?) Argh, random again! :P

Yesterday we had this West PM at the Sherwood Towers beside Bukit Timah Plaza! Well this is quite random, but we were the first among the whole West to reach! Not boasting or what, keep it up! Have the sense of urgency, yeah! Let's thank God for this brother from West (A/B/C/E/F), if not for him we wouldn't be able to use the function room there :)

We prayed for our physical and spiritual family, ourselves and also this coming ESS! Last but not the least, we prayed for ourselves in studies! Sometimes we study for the sake of studying, ultimately we are studying for God! We are the salt & light in everywhere, schools or work. So, do study for your common test! Shine for Him! Other than studies, also in everything we do, we do it for God. We don't serve God for the sake of serving, we serve Him because He first loved us. We don't wait for our leaders to do, we do!

Somebody complained to me last night tht west d blog looked a pretty dead and so like wht quansheng said, i shall clean up bit of th dust due to th timing i'm left with! LOL. Anyway, this is th week of ESS- fall th valentine day. I bet everybody will be like, "Oh God!! gimme fruits!!" Hahaa! But yeah, remember to give thanks to God in whtevr circumstances you are in. It may be time of harvest, it may be time of waiting, time of .. whtsoever luh. Always rmb tht God has His best plan [:

Ohyah, th previous fri, west d gathered together w/ dewen for party world at tanjong pagar. Many came but many left. Thr were only 4 survivals all th way till 5am going to 6am. In fact, th only one left singing th MOST was huichuen. HAHA. Anyway, th 4 survivals were regh, jen, huichuen & me. Man, it was a "supreme" night. I want it again!! Ohkay, so aft tht we headed home & went down for svc. Dont you guys find it a little weird? I find it weird not to see bh & sy ard. But yeah, will still see thm in JC group! :D

Svc was preached by p. jeff. Continued th shepherd series and we'd unit gathering aft svc. At ard 6 plus, we all went to dhoby ghaut and had a shannon good-bye session just right outside th mrt ezlink place. Some cried, some felt very unbearable. SHANNON! JIAYOU IN MELBOURNE! WE'LL SEE YOU AGAIN! [:

Shepherd's meet- we climbed th dono how many steps up to th location. OHMYGOODNESS. Tht was like so way high up. HAHA. Whtevr it is, we'd a wonderful shepherd's meet. learned a lot [:

alrighht. just wanna share w/ you guys wht i learned & it's still in my mind from a book tht my shepherd showed me. i cant rly rmb wht th name it is. aiyah, go ask her more ohkay?

well, as we are serving God in all types of ministry. Maybe in choir, in info counter, in shepherding, as a CL etc. Unknowingly, we want to do things to attract attention onto ourselves, or like want ppl to know i'm th lao da listen only to me, or like show ppl how pro you are etc. As time goes by and this part of us is not being revealed to ourselves, we'll realised sth is wrong between God and us. Like why God recently doesnt speak to me, why God doesnt want to allow me to feel Him etc. Actually, thts nt th truth. God is still thr but bcos you're too focused on th surrounding, th environment tht you are in tht you blocked yourself up unknowingly. Even when sometimes you are praying, worshipping or praising, you tend to be like "will ppl be listening to my prayer, will ppl hear my voice zhao sia or not, when i jump will my clothe messed up" etc. Th qns is, whr are you focusing?

Benediction Blessing

The Lord bless you and keep you. —Numbers 6:24

Our church introduced a new practice for the close of our traditional morning worship service. We turn to one another and sing the familiar Aaronic blessing the Lord gave to Moses to give to Israel: “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you . . .” (Num. 6:24-26). Our hearts are uplifted as we mutually catch the eye of a fellow believer and extend our blessing to him or her.

One Sunday, I noticed a heartwarming and special exchange that has now become a weekly event. ohno, th blog was left alone for like 3 days!! Man, everyone please say sorry to blog!! LOL, ohkay nvm. I'm insane. Anyway, we had SERVICE yesterday! &guess wht, we're going to hit our goal real soon in reachin 40 peeps! Jiayou ohkay!

Service was great ytd! Pastor shirley taught a lot about sheeps and our shepherd, God. I learned A LOT about sheep physically and spiritually (: heees~ how about you? :P i seriously cant imagine all of you, SO STUPID bcos you're a sheep. LOL JOKING xD We are spiritual sheep YEAH? :D

Right now, WEST D is in th process of reten-ing (spell like this?) the new bie and also in th process of pioneering new schs as well. Let's pray for one another and jiayou ohkay! Also, in th process of all these, let's not forget th GREAT COMMISSION to make more and more disciples :D

And of course, as th new yr start and many things tht are to come, let us not be worried bcos we've God. Let us not be tempted by th worldly stuff tht will make us worry bcos worry is a sin yeah. Leave it up to God, do your best and He will do th rest (:

Hello everyone, th panda is here again! Yeap yeap, just to annouce tht we've got a new caregroup formed! And tht's WEST D 3 ((: it's taken care by both panda & fat dora with 2 different schs :D

Actually it's just splitting from west d 1, all th westwood sec peeps formed a new caregroup together with th one and only "emo" pioneering ldr on boonlay sec in it. Yeap, so let's welcome WD3 alright. Tho now feel like more separated but we're still west D ohkay! As we grow bigger in size (sounds wrong! not physically i mean, i mean our group!), our bond with one another must grow tighter too ohkay!

Heyoo! How are you guys feeling? Is going back to school real cool? :D Get to share with me alright, bcos i feel so weird not going back to sch anymore. LOL! Anyway, i hope you guys are doing good (: Well, in th midst of unhappiness (bcos you're going back to sch) or happiness (get to see friends again) and many types of emotion state tht you can think of, let's not forget our Almighty Creator, our Father alright? Always keep yourself prayerful and of course, keep Him as your 1st priority!

As we persever on, every sweat, every discouragement, every step tht we took, every tears tht we teared, every falls tht we had, every conviction tht we held on to, every sleep time tht we sacrificed, every plans tht we made, every prayers tht we prayed, every thing every thing every thing tht had passed thru our life in 2008! EVERY SINGLE thing tht we did determined th fruits tht we're going to receive in 2oo9. Like wht regina received from God during prayer meeting about our mansion being half built in Heaven. In 2009, are you going to let th mansion be slowly build up or are you going to let God take away every gold bar (bricks) pieces by pieces? Are you going to tear your own mansion down? Like wht Jency told us about wht Yunian said to her, tht th eagle has found th right angle to conquer th empty land. LET'S BE LIKE THE EAGLE. AIM IT, AND CONQUER IT. GO AND CLAIM IT IN 2009! Once God make th right & clear trumpet call for us, it will NEVER be wrong!

Of everything, never be discouraged but trust in God's perfect timing. Our "CG08" may not be now, but it may be in 2009 and many more yrs to come. Praise Him at all circumstances and in everything! Psalm 150

Let's all keep in mind tht victory is ours. It is ours. OURS OURS OURS, no one else. OURS.
