Let's talk about last saturday:

SERVICE
A few of the west d1&2 went down to cuppage B1 to have their so-called breakfast. Majority had only drinks. Sihui lost her voice at that time, and huaiqian thought her voice was very gentle at that moment. Well, her voice is always so gentle der :D *LOL, dont puke!!*
After that, they went off the PM while boonhow went to search for cassandra. PM was great, yeah? Service was also great! Pastor shirley talked about Relying On God Through Fasting.
Fasting = Abstinence : Refraining from food or a particular comfort in order to seek God's face.

Matthew 4:1-4

2 things we need to know when we're fasting:
1) Fasting is not twisting God's arm.
2) Fasting is not bribery.

1st point: Fasting is concentrating on God. (v1)
2nd point: Fasting is self- control. (v2)
3rd point: Fasting is feasting on God. (v4)

SPIRIT ABOVE FLESH!

What'd you learned from last week service?
Well, i'd learned that :
Fasting is not about bribery; forcing or threatening God to give me or bless me something but rather, relying on Him .. :D

We celebrated weikoon's birthday @ meridien while having lunch :D
After service, we'd UDMM at istana park.
It was hot and humid.
Boonhow was walking up and down alot of times trying to keep fan on.

Jency thought us about REVIVAL LIVING.
Definition of revival: Revive is come or bring back to life.

Scenarios when there's revival:
1) Great hunger for word of God
2) Desire to walk in righteousness
3) Commitment to local churches
4) Great fervor for intercession
5) Great sense of intimacy with God
6) Passion for Outreach

Acts 2:14-21 ; How to have revival?

1) Be filled with the Holy Spirit (v17-18)
Haggai 2:9
Ephesians 1:13

2) Be guided by the Holy SPirit (v17-20)
Acts 1:8
Ephesians 5:15-18

3) Be involved in the harvest (v21)

At point 2, the part where Jency spoke about 'the more awareness/alert you've/re towards your Holy Spirit, Holy spirit can guide you more' really impacted me alot (: How about you? :D
The both of them are our new targets for now:

then we had fellowshipping @ meridien after UDMM while waiting for YCLM to end :D
Jump back to yesterday, MONDAY:

Membership class:
Hey peeeps who went for membership class! Come on into this blog, and blog about what'd happened yeah? So that all of us can enjoy and see how it was like! :D

Membership class was held today from 3 to 6pm.

On the other side,
sh, qs and eugene went to sembawang park.
They were cracking their brains hard enough for the planning.
Running up and down the whole park can really drain them.
The worse of all, they actually walked a few bus stop from sembawang park
because there wasn't any bus coming.

Sihui being the most eldest and the most lack of wisdom..
actually thought there was only last bus stop left
and they would reach the interchange.
but when qs and eugene went to check,
it was actually 5 more bus stops to go -.-
how stupid can that be? LOL.
After that, the 3 of them headed down to nexus.
met up with crystal, hq and shannon to plan bbq.
all of them almost died, but they didnt.
because it was tough thinking of backup plan.
Thank God for His faithfulness.
He gave alot of ideas into their heads..
though it seemed ridiculous
but nothing is impossible, yeah? :D

Pray for the impossible to be possible!
