Yesterday during service, pastor shirley preached about Descending into Greatness. There were many inspiriting quotes and illustrations which i believed touched and motivated quite a lot of people, yeah?!

I. Why develop faithfulness?
- to be like God [1 Corinthians 1:9(KJV), 1 Corinthians 1-:12, 1 John 1:9, Psalm 33:4]
- Qualification for ministry [1 Timothy 1:12(KJV), 1 corinthians 4:17, 2 Timothy 2:2]
- It guarantees God's blessings of my life [Proverbs 28:20, 25:19]
- It prepares me for leadership growth [Nehemiah 7:2(KJV), Matthew 25:45(GN)]
- Faithfulness will be rewarded in heaven [Matthew 25:21]

II. Characteristics of a faithful person
- He/She has right value. [Proverbs 28:20]
- He/She cares for others' interest not just his or her own [Philippians 2:20-22]
- He/She lives a life of integrity before the unbelieving world. [Daniel 6:4(LB)]
- He/She keeps his words [Proverbs 25:14, Psalm 15:4-5(GN)]
- He/She develops spiritual gift [1 Peter 4:10]
- He/She manages his money well [Luke 16:11, 1 Corinthians 16:2 (LB)]
- He/She obey God's command [1 Samuel 2:35 (LB)]
- He/She passes on to others what he/she learned [2 Timothy 2:2, 11-13]
