Ohkay, i know i'm alittle slow. Actually intended to blog on JUNE 1ST but something popped out, and time was taken away so until now i finally have the time to come and fill this blog with ENTERTAINMENTS! And Jency, please don't be upset that you'd missed out all the fun last saturday. You should be glad that you weren't there because both of our innocent leaders were sabotaged to do silly forfeits that they should not be doing. HAH!

THURSDAY:
WEST D had unit prayer meeting. You can click here to see what we did. (I updated) But, i forgotten the forfeit part where sihui, quansheng & huichuen lost in the games. It was recorded in this video ((:
FRIDAY:
It was the first lesson for WFL (Work For Life), so what'd you learned?! Well, i'd learned a lot from CLC2 course. Before i went for the course, i actually prayed and told God that i'm expecting Him to speak to me through this course. Also, i will be super ready to receive from God (: No doubt, He did speak to me a lot through this course. Being a good leader etc.
How about you? Whether you'd prayed or not, i believe God must had speak and impacted your current life greatly, yeah?! I could see huichuen got so happy over her course. That was so different from the way she was reacting before the course (well, if you know), yeah?! I could also see Agnes flipping through the book for her course (Growing in Christ) eagerly, trying to see and learn more. Yeah! This should be the way we've to be expecting from God! :D

SATURDAY:
It was the last 2nd service before OASIS CAMP! What was your mood at that point of time? Your mood for P&W? Your mood for sermon? Your mood for announcement? Well, i've got no idea about yours but.. As for mine, i was so excited and happy. Reason? Because God is really great. That unknown joy that grew in me on saturday can never be compared, yeah!
During sermon, Pastor Jeff and Brother Michael took turn to preach. The sermon was on How To Avoid Being A Spiritual Counterfeit. From the sermon, i received a lot from God as well. Especially the part where Brother Michael talked about "It's good to be passionate about something in church but when passion turns into obsession, it'll start burning."
1 Timothy 6:3-5
If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.
1) Must not deviate from the truth (v3) (Pastor Jeff)

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
(PS: Hey boonhow! Remember? The time when we had bible study on John. We realised this part, yeah?! HAH!)
2) I must not divide the church (v4-5a) (Brother Michael)
1 Timothy 1:3-7
As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain men not to teach false doctrines any longer nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. These promote controversies rather than God's work—which is by faith. The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. Some have wandered away from these and turned to meaningless talk. They want to be teachers of the law, but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm.
*2a- Develop our passion healthily
*2b- Major on the Major, and not on the Minor
3) I Must not devote myself to selfish gain (v5b) (Pastor Jeff)

Hoho :D Hope this few points helped you to recall some things from last week's service!
After service, we went to meridien and had our lunch. After lunch, we headed to the back of meridien where we had our fun and fellowship there. It was really fun! Despite all the rainings, and the weird-ness of missing Jency, we really enjoyed ourselves.
Maybe Banana is the most recent trend, and that was why we played games that were all related to BANANA. (Wild guess, obviously XD) But it was really so not gross to eat up all the bananas after peeling, cutting, and arranging it on a piece of black paper. Oh yeah, poor Regina. Her whole sermon notepad was torn after trying to tear us some papers from her notepad. Sighed, poor thing. Oh well.. no one to blame but her un- gentleness. HAHAH! *Mind you, i'm just kidding!*
Of course, by using words to describe aren't exciting or entertaining at all. So yeap, here's all the funny videos. You better stop laughing after watching it :D
Last but not least, thank God for De Quan and Huai Qian for preparing and leading the games! It was really well done (in my opinion)! :D Jiayou and keep it up!!
SUNDAY aka the family and rest day- SKIPPED ((:
Here comes MONDAY (which is today):
It was the 2nd lesson for WFL (Work For Life). So far, what'd you learned?! If you say NOTHING, then you gotta be careful. I believe all the instructors will be carrying a hammer and running all over the place looking for you. LOL! Kidding kidding :D
Well, as for CLC2: Eugene, Quansheng & Sihui learned a lot of doing CG the right and proper way. Of course, all about roles leading etc. As for In His step: Huichuen learned about Heart Motive and Self- acceptance! The rest?! I've no idea.. So sorry! Got the chance, you do the update alright?! Whatever it is, there will definitely be something that you'd learned. It's a pity to those who missed it though :/ But! Don't worry! There's still chance in the upcoming end year :D
And yes yes yes peeeps. I have so so so so so much videos but i haven't got the chance to put them up. Well, i'm doing it now :D
Do you still remember the unit prayer meeting where there wasn't any boys but only girls? Do you still remember on the MRT to NEXUS for Facing the giants movie? ((: Enjoy!

Yes!!! Prayer is something you should not miss! It's a must to pray and get ready to receive from God, especially for this OASIS CAMP! Let's not go for camp for the sake of money, or for the sake of fun and enjoyment but rather go because we want to be refreshed by God, alright?! Well, i'm expecting something to happen through this camp ((: How about you?
Have you done your camp devotion?! Please do not miss the camp devotion alright. The camp committee people had put in their efforts to do this devotion for us to do, so please do not take their efforts for granted yeah?! Use it with appreciation and also to get ourselves ready to receive from God!

Ephesians 3:14-21

When my family goes out for an ice cream cone, my dad would ask my mother what flavor she'd like. Often she would reply, "Surprise me!" She tells me she is rarely disappointed in his choice.
Do you like surprises? Would you ever dare say, "Surprise me!" to God? A lot of us are a little scared to do that. Yes, we have faith that God is good and that He loves us. Yet we are afraid we won't like what He chooses for us.
Often we read and can't help but htink that God delights in 'wow-ing' us. Sometimes it's folding back the waters for His people to cross a sea on dry ground. (Exodus 14:21-22). Or forgiving and embracing those who repent of their sin (Psalm 130:1-4). Jesus' time on earth was filled with amazing events that pointed people to His Father- He turned water into wine, calamed storms, healed the sick, and raised the dead.
What kind of God do we serve? The Bible says that God's thoughts and ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8), and that means He is bigger, grander and simply beyond what you perceive or understand Him to be. But even then, the Almighty delights in His children who trust Him and who are willing to say, "Surprise me, Lord!"
O Lord, give me the grace to be content with what You give to me.
No! More than that, let me rejoice in all You send me- it's Your choice!
Those who let God be their source will always be satisfied.

UNIT MCG!
Yay! Are you excited for tomorrow's UNIT MCG?! It's been long since we'd an unit MCG yeah? Location is at the new park beside Jurong point, and meeting time will be at 1.15pm! Do not be late and don't miss it alright! Bring friends along :D Though i will not be there tomorrow, but i do hope that you guys will enjoy yourselves! Please remember to take photos and videos down to share ohkay! :D

Last service before OASIS CAMP!
There will be no meeting or anything else after service this saturday! Don't stay up too late because you're going to miss 4 days at home! Don't give your parents a chance to scold you for always going out! :D
Of course, why not let's pray that when we go for this service, we will receive something from God? Pray that God will make our hearts be prepared for camp!!
Harvesters training day!
This upcoming thursday, all the harvesters are required to make it for the training at sentosa; siloso beach! You've to reach there by 930AM! The whole program will end at approximately 630PM! Keep your day free alright!
